The MP-VBL lockout-tagout device is an innovative, engineered solution to protect the water supply by isolating valves. The device is inserted into the valve access cover frame and secured with a padlock before the cover is replaced.

It is suitable for utility authorities responsible for isolating and controlling the water supply network.

The device prevents operators inadvertently opening or closing a valve and releasing ‘energised’ water. It also stops unauthorised people from tampering with boundary and inground valves, preventing disruptions to the water supply.
