City of Gold Coast Access Upgrade Enhances Safety and Security

Mass Products recently completed a safe access upgrade for the City of Gold Coast, improving both operator safety and asset protection at a valve chamber site.

The existing converter slab had a restricted opening, making maintenance access difficult and creating safety risks for operators. To address this, our team cut out a larger opening in the concrete slab and installed a lightweight lockable aluminium access cover with an integrated safety grate.

This upgrade delivers several key benefits:

• Improved manual handling safety, thanks to lightweight aluminium lids.
