CL9 Magnetic Cover Lifter
The CL9 is a magnetic cover lifter designed for the manual opening of small to medium weight metallic covers, or covers that are frequently manoeuvred and not excessively blocked/difficult to lift.
It weighs 4kg and the handle folds away, making it compact enough to transport on smaller vehicles and easy to carry if the job involves walking long distances.
The base plate has nine powerful magnet pads that give a lifting force up to 230kg (in ideal conditions).
The tool is compact, efficient, simple and fast to use and an important asset for today’s crews.

The CL9 was developed following numerous requests from utilities companies that needed a smaller, lighter lifter than the CL10 and CL11.
The CL9 can only be lifted by hand and cannot be used with wheeled levers APS80 or APS90.
